WHAT WOULD BE A FAIR PRICE FOR A KUBOTA L 245 DT 4X4 1034 HRS., LOOKS TO BE SHED KEPT, PAINT IN GOOD SHAPE AS WELL AS NO RUST, RUNS SMOOTH. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE INFO.

Depending on the year of manufacture of the tractor for a 1982 model around $3400 to a 1977 model $2200. Those are nice little tractors. Check it out good and run it. Make sure the tractor is cold when you get there to start is cold and determine if the glow plugs work properly and if the clutch is not sticking. (i.e. will not go in gear without grinding). Look at the front end steering knuckle to check for steering play. Condition of tires. What does oil and trans fluid look like? Does tractor have ROPS and seat belt? I can show you where you can get a discount coupon from Kubota to purchase one very reasonable. (big pain in the butt to install!) Run it good and hard cutting or something to put a good load on it. Does oil come out of gear shift? (clean mud dawbers's nest out of trans. vent tube on L/H side just below seat) Good luck! ....
